Research monograph prepared by Trust founding president James L. Kochan on the discovery and documentation of the regimental seal of the 1st Continental or Rifle Regiment, raised in 1776, and its relationship to the regimental standard or color, which also survives.  The seal was acquired from him by the National Museum of the United States Army at Fort Belvoir, VA.
